We’re the crew that climbs into your attic, crawls through your crawl space, and seals what everyone else missed. Every person on this page has worked in Laguna Niguel homes, from the hills above Crown Valley Parkway to the canyon-adjacent properties where the marine layer doesn’t reach and the attic hits 140°F by noon. Wes Okafor, Owner
I started this operation in 2016 after ten years in commercial building envelope work and got tired of watching residential crews skip the actual sealing. The first thing I do on any Laguna Niguel estimate is pull the attic hatch myself. I’ve found R-11 batts laid face-down over unblocked recessed cans, spray foam that missed the top plate by four inches, and one house in Marina Hills where the previous contractor had blown cellulose directly over a disconnected flex duct that was dumping conditioned air into the insulation for eleven years. I don’t tell customers the job went great. I show them the before-and-after blower-door numbers and let the gap speak for itself. When I’m not in an attic, I’m usually arguing with my daughter about whether 72°F is “freezing” or “normal human temperature.”
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2019 and runs the crew on every job that involves spray foam or crawl space encapsulation in Laguna Niguel. He’s certified in both open-cell and closed-cell application through Icynene and Demilec, and he’s the person Wes calls when a job has “weird geometry” - vaulted ceilings with no access, or the 1970s ranch homes off Niguel Road where the roofline meets the wall at angles that make standard installation impossible. Marcus grew up in San Clemente and still surfs San Onofre before dawn on days we don’t start until 8. His left knee clicks when he crouches. You’ll hear it in your crawl space before you see his headlamp.
Dana K., Senior Installer
Dana specializes in blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, and she’s the one who handles most of the Laguna Niguel re-dos - jobs where another company got the insulation in but skipped the air sealing, or used the wrong density for the local climate. She’s BPI-certified and trained in dense-packing wall cavities, which matters more than you’d think in the older Laguna Niguel neighborhoods where original construction was R-11 if you were lucky. Dana keeps a photographic memory of every attic she’s worked in, which is either a gift or a burden depending on whether you ask her about the one in Bear Brand Ranch with the bees. She drives a 2006 Tacoma with 287,000 miles and refuses to replace it until the odometer rolls over.
Rico V., Service Coordinator
Rico answers the phone when you call (949) 403-8361, schedules your estimate, and texts you when your technician is en route. He’s the reason we can promise a live person 24/7 - he actually picks up, even at 10 PM when a homeowner in Laguna Heights realizes their attic fan is running backwards and pulling conditioned air out of the house. Rico grew up in Lake Forest, worked three years in HVAC dispatch before joining us, and has a spreadsheet that tracks every Laguna Niguel job we’ve completed since 2019 by neighborhood, material type, and final blower-door number. He’ll remember your name, your address, and whether your dog is friendly before the technician rings your bell.
Jin P., Apprentice
Jin joined us in 2023 after completing the weatherization program at a local trade school, and he’s currently working toward his BPI Building Analyst certification under Dana’s supervision. He handles prep, cleanup, and the detailed work of sealing can lights and top plates that most crews rush through. Jin’s the one who actually reads the material data sheets and notices when a batch of fiberglass has a different loft than spec. He lives in Aliso Viejo, commutes up Crown Valley Parkway every morning, and has developed strong opinions about which Starbucks has the most reliable parking lot for the work van. This is his first job in construction. He asks better questions than most people with ten years in.
